Ben Baptiste

I'm proud to share my journey with you. With over 28 years of experience in Heavy Construction, I've had the privilege of serving as a United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran. My expertise spans various areas, including life science, bio pharmaceutical, residential high rise/mixed use, manufacturing, and demolition projects.

Throughout my career, I've excelled in managing teams of trade personnel and handling construction trade contracts. Ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved in large projects, especially when it comes to Environmental Health and Safety, has always been a top priority for me.

During my time in the Marine Corps, I had the opportunity to lead the combat vehicle fleet within the Motor Transport unit. Later, I took on the responsibility of managing the Hazardous Materials unit at the esteemed Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

Away from work, family is at the heart of everything I do. I take immense pride in being a father to a blended family of three biological children and three wonderful bonus children. Alongside my wife, who I've been married to for 11 years, we've built a strong and supportive household.

In addition to my professional and family commitments, I remain deeply dedicated to giving back to the community. I currently serve as the Commander of VFW Post 2846, a role that allows me to continue making a positive impact on the lives of veterans and the broader community.

My Cape Verdean heritage is a significant part of my identity, and it shapes my appreciation for different cultures. I am driven by a deep passion for driving excellence in the construction industry. My goal is to make the industry safer and more inclusive, leaving a lasting impact on its evolution. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
